Two engagement models cover most of our Canadian work:
- Fixed-scope project — defined deliverables, milestone-based invoicing, predictable budget. Best for site rebuilds, platform migrations, or specific feature work. Typical length: 4–10 weeks.
- Monthly retainer — an agreed bucket of developer hours per month, allocated to whatever your priorities are. Best for ongoing partnerships: content rollouts, feature iteration, optimization. Typical retainer: 20–60 hours monthly.
We work primarily in your Slack workspace as guests. A weekly 30-minute sync (your timezone), daily async updates, and a shared Notion or Linear board for traceable work items. Every project has a dedicated project manager working business hours that overlap yours.

We can invoice in USD or CAD as your accounting prefers, by wire transfer, ACH, credit card, or Stripe. Net-30 terms are standard for retainer clients. We sign Canadian-format MSAs and provide W-8BEN-E or relevant cross-border tax documentation as your accountant requires.

How does communication work across the border?
Eastern Canada (Toronto, Montréal, Ottawa) shares full business hours with our team. Pacific Canada (Vancouver, Calgary) overlaps from early morning through midday for us. Slack response times during your day average under 30 minutes either way.
Do you work in French?
Our delivery and project communication is in English. We’ve built bilingual EN/FR WordPress sites for Québec clients many times — WPML and Polylang configurations, French content modeling, locale-specific design. Québec clients work with us in English and we build the site for French end-users.
What WordPress projects don’t you take?
We turn down “quick fix” jobs under five hours — they’re inefficient and rarely solve the underlying issue. We also don’t build new sites on Elementor or Divi as a primary architecture. Our stack is Gutenberg, ACF, and custom blocks because page builders create maintenance debt we’d then be asked to clean up later.
