Problem
Our client asked us to build a blog page based on their designs in Figma. After this project completion, client returned back with the full rebuild request using client’s designs. In addition, the entire website has been moved to WordPress during this project.
Our team had a task processed in two stages:
1. Implement a blog page based on the provided design. However, the previously existing website was not developed in WordPress.
2. Redesign the entire website applying provided designs which included the following elements implementation:
- Home page
- Trees Information Page
- About
- Resources
- Pages reflecting the trees planting process.
Solution
The first step was to integrate the blog page in WordPress. Our development team successfully completed the task within a short timeline. The client was satisfied enough to come back to us with a new project later. That time we had the task of redesigning the website.
We successfully implemented the agreed stages of work within a limited time. The client left a positive feedback after. We were happy to be able to help from our side as well.
Blog
The blog page starts with a banner on the background, categories and a menu with elements linked to the page sections.
Categories are switched via AJAX.
The feedback form allows you to immediately sign up for newsletters.
Moreover the page has a convenient lay out allowing a user to proceed to the next page posts.
The FAQ block was added as well. If you can’t find a question in the list you have a useful option to create your own.
Single blog post
A single blog post page starts with a banner and the Resources button. The sidebar has a banner offering to add Grow to Slack for free and social networks.
Moreover there is a feedback form with recommendations at the bottom of the page. Also there is a button next to the footer suggesting you to start using Grow today.
Redesign
Once the Resources page in WordPress was implemented successfully, we received a new website redesign project from the client. We kept all the website functionality, although changed the color scheme along with the visual style, taking into account the client’s preferences. The new concept looks quite friendly and creative, highlighting the unique character of the company.
A distinctive feature of Grow is the company sustainability values. The website user has the opportunity to support the principles of the team and participate in the greening of the planet.
Therefore, the website gives a unique chance to help the Grow team to do this. All you need to do is to share a feedback about your team growth.
Result
We created a website for the Grow service that becomes more and more popular. In a short time, our team managed to implement all the preferences that had been expressed earlier by the client. Now Grow has an updated website with a wide spectrum of functions.
Our team solved such problems as switching categories and pagination without reloading the page. In addition, we created 7 new editable Gutenberg blocks. We used Gravity Forms plug in to create forms, styled in a way to match the design precisely. Also we made an adaptive for these pages and optimized them for a more effective work.
